Tokyo 2020 Highlights - Day 10

Heading into the final week of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, the tenth day puts the spotlight on Artistic Gymnastics, Athletics, Cycling BMX Freestyle, Diving, Golf, Sailing, Swimming, and Weightlifting.

Beginning with Artistic Gymnastics, Artem Dolgopyat of Israel won the Men's Floor Exercise Final, Rebeca Andrade of Brazil won the Women's Vault Final, Max Whitlock of Great Britain won the Men's Pommel Horse Final, and Nina Derwael of Belgium won the Women's Uneven Bars Final.

In Athletics, Gong Lijao of China won the Women's Shot Put Final while Mutaz Essa Barshim of Qatar won the Men's High Jump Final, Venezuelan Yulimar Rojas on the Women's Triple Jump Final, and Lamont Marcell Jacobs of Italy on the Men's 100m Final.

In Cycling BMX Freestyle, Charlotte Worthington of Great Britain won the Women's Park Final while Logan Martin of Australia won the Men's Park Final.

In Diving, a double medal finish for China at the Women's 3m Springboard Final with Shi Tingmao won the gold while Wang Han won the silver medal.

In Golf, Xander Schauffele of Team USA won the Men's Individual Stroke Play Round 4.

In Sailing, Matt Wearn of Australia won the Men's One Person Dinghy - Laser- Medal Race, while Anne-Marie Rindom of Denmark won the Women's One Person Dinghy - Laser Radial - Medal Race.

Team USA made headlines in the Swimming events with Caeleb Dressel won the Men's 50m Freestyle Final, Robert Finke in the Men's 1500m Freestyle Final, and the whole team at the Men's 4x100 Medley Relay Final. Emma McKeon won the Women's 50m Freestyle Final for Australia, which also won the Women's 4x100m Medley Relay Final.

And in Weightlifting, Ecuador's Neisi Patricia Barrera won the Women's 76kg Group A.

In the medal tally, China leads the gold medal count with 24 while the US won 20 golds. Rank by total, the US is back in the lead with 59 total medals won.
