Pacquiao fails fight against Ugas in Vegas main event

After two years of hiatus because of his political business, the Pinoy boxing legend Manny Pacquiao returns to the ring for the main event match against his unexpected rival, the Cuban welterweight boxing champ Yordenis Ugas, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Originally, Pacquiao would have fought against Errol Spence Jr. but because of Spence's eye injury, ten days before the fight, Ugas stepped in on his behalf. For Pacquiao, this is a surprise opportunity to prove to the world that he's still into the fight but for Ugas, it's blind luck that dragged him for an unexpected fight against a legend.

The first half of the battle saw Ugas aggressively turning the tables against Pacquiao, leaving the legend struggling to keep up. As the second half approaches, Pacquiao gave everything he got to fend off the Cuban's strong punches but he's really struggling as well.

After a 12-round thriller that saw the whole world gripping over whose boxer will win the match, the legend has fallen and the champ has won. The legendary Manny Pacquiao has lost and Yordenis Ugas retains his title by unanimous decision.

So much for the legend's comeback and with the David and Goliath moment well and truly over, it seems the latter's future remains undecided following his loss against the Cuban but at least he enjoyed his comeback although the results are not what he was expected.

The match is over but for the Pacman, his legacy continues...
