The Daytona International Speedway comes alive with the Roar Before The 24 event where the winners get to lead their respective classes in the upcoming Rolex 24 at Daytona endurance race happening next weekend.

Started out wet, then returned on a dry run, this is what the Roar Before the 24 really sums up as the drivers dishing out their 100 minutes of fame to decide who will lead their classes at the 24 hour race event in Daytona.
After a dramatic 100-minute thriller, the class leaders for the 24 Hours of Daytona have been named. The #31 Whelen Engineering Racing Cadillac DPi, driven by Felipe Nasr and Pipo Derani is named the winner and gets to start first at the grid. The #52 PR1 Mathiasen Motorsports ORECA LMP 07 wins the LMP2 lead, #6 Muehlner Motorsports America Duquiene D08 for LMP3, #4 Corvette Racing C8.R for the GTLM class, and the #96 Turner Motorsport M6 GT3 for the GTD class.
That's the end of the Motul Pole Award 100 race. Now, the real action at Daytona begins on the 27th to the 31st of January, 2021, for the Rolex 24 at Daytona.
