DTM 2019 - Norisring

Nuremberg is jam-packed with spectators and the DTM beasts lurking through the tracks as the folks are gathered at the Norisring for the next round of the 2019 DTM season and these drivers are pulling all of their stops to survive this track, whatever it takes.

In the first race of the event, despite his poor start, current title holder Rene Rast managed to claw his way back to the top to nick his come-from-behind win and his third win of the season. That's some miracle the Audi driver pulled one off. On the second race, the Canadian BMW driver, Bruno Spengler, ended his two-year drought with his fifth DTM career win, making him the DTM driver who scored the most wins in Nuremberg.

Highlights:

After the action at Nuremberg, Rast still leads the leaderboard with 127 points, 25 points ahead of Nico Muller, while Philipp Eng's in third with a point behind Muller.

Next time, the DTM takes on a brand new Assen venue on the 19th to the 21st of July.
