Call of Duty Black Ops 4

Call of Duty is back with a brand new installment for this year but this is not the Call of Duty you may remember through the years because what this new installment is is everyone's guess.

Black Ops 4 is the latest installment of the Call of Duty franchise and while this game brings back the Black Ops name since the last installment three years ago, introducing yourselves to BO4 is a lot harder than we might imagine.

For starters, the single player campaign that has been the forefront in most COD games has been thrown away and turned into a multiplayer-only game that sounds very expensive if you have a PS4 and XBOX One with you due to subscription charges but if you're playing this on your PC, it's fine. You can multiplayer all you want but be ready because the game mechanics are a lot trickier than you might think.

Because multiplayer is the main focus of Black Ops 4, players can jump to the action offline via splitscreen or online. Whether you turn BO4 into a party game to entertain the guests or challenge the world online, whichever discipline you might pit into is a clear difference between victory and defeat.

Because battle royale games are all the rage right now because of Fortnite, Battlegrounds, Rules of Survival or any other battle royale game you know, Black Ops 4 introduces Blackout, a battle royale mode where players can play as their favorite Black Ops characters in memorable settings and because this is a battle royale game, the rules are simple; many will enter, only one will win. No questions asked.

Of course, what's a Call of Duty game without Zombies mode? Zombies are back in BO4 and at launch, players can get into three terrifying tales with a brand new cast of characters that will keep you hooked for more until your head aches really bad due to the intense gore factor this mode delivers.

Expect more Black Ops 4 action soon after launch with a range of DLC packs along the way and like last time, all new DLC content may pop up first for PS4 users so if you're playing this game on the PS4, you're in luck because you will be the first to get some new content that will enrich your BO4 experience.

To sum up then, the lack of single player campaign makes BO4 a dull game to play but since this game allows splitscreen multiplayer gameplay when you have two controllers with you, it can be an all-out party game full stop and with the addition of a new battle royale feature and head-burning Zombies mode, some people would definitely want to empty their pockets to play BO4 some more if they can afford the subscription charges to keep playing multiplayer online.
