2018 Verizon IndyCar Series - Chevrolet Dual in Detroit

After experiencing Indy 500 hangovers, the 2018 Verizon IndyCar Series continues at Belle Isle for the two-parter Chevrolet Dual in Detroit event. The first part is a special one because it crosses over with the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship while the second part is nothing personal because it's all IndyCar action you can expect in Motor City.

In the first part of the race, a trio of Honda-powered IndyCars occupied the podium at the end of the race. Scott Dixon, Ryan Hunter-Reay, and Alexander Rossi to name a few. In the latter part of the race, minding the embarassing pace car crash heard round the world, Ryan Hunter-Reay's 42-race winless streak has broken after winning the race by 11.3549 seconds ahead of Will Power.

The next race is at Texas Motor Speedway for the DXC Technology 600 on the 9th of June, 2018.
