FIFA WORLD CUP RUSSIA 2018 - June 18, 2018

FIFA World Cup Russia 2018
Sweden takes on South Korea at the Nizhny Novgorod Stadium while Belgium takes on Panama at Sochi's Fisht Stadium and Tunisia takes on England at Volgograd Arena. That's Day 5 of the FIFA World Cup Russia 2018.

Beginning at Nizhny Novgorod Stadium, a penalty kick by Sweden's team captain, Andreas Granqvist, won the opening match for the first time since 1958, leaving no points for the South Koreans. At Sochi, meanwhile, the Belgians massively defeated Panama by three points. And finally, in Volgograd, Harry Kane's performance propelled the English team to victory against Tunisia at the score of 2-1.

The next match will see Colombia taking on Japan at Mordovia Arena while Spartak Stadium sees a fight between Poland and Senegal and St. Petersburg comes alive with a battle between Russia and Egypt.

FIFA World Cup Russia 2018

Costa Rica taking on Serbia at Samara while Germany takes on Mexico at Luzhniki Stadium and Brazil takes on Switzerland at the Rostov Arena. These are some of the matches occurred at Day 4 of the FIFA World Cup Russia 2018.

Beginning at Samara, the penalty kick by Aleksandar Kolarov during the second half paved Serbia a one-point win against Costa Rica. At Luzhniki, meanwhile, Hirving Lozano's counterattack has left the Germans upset as Mexico wins by just a point. And in Rostov, the thrilling battle between the Brazilians and the Swiss ended in a one-point draw.

Next time, Sweden takes on South Korea at the Nizhny Novgorod Stadium while Belgium takes on Panama at Sochi's Fisht Stadium and Tunisia takes on England at Volgograd Arena.

FIFA WORLD CUP RUSSIA 2018 - June 16, 2018

FIFA World Cup Russia 2018

France vs. Australia at Kazan, Argentina vs. Iceland at Spartak Stadium in Moscow, Peru vs. Denmark at Mordovia Arena in Saransk, and Croatia vs. Nigeria at Kaliningrad are the highlights of the third day of the FIFA World Cup Russia 2018.

Starting at Kazan, the Group C match between France and Australia ended in a 2-1, favoring the French thanks to the accidental own goal that gave the Les Bleus the victory they deserved. Meanwhile in Spartak, Moscow, the battle between Argentina and Iceland ended in an honorable draw, each scored one point. On the Mordovia side, Denmark's one point goal is more than enough to destroy Peru, all thanks to Yurary's second-half strike. And on the battle between Croatia and Nigeria at Kaliningrad, the accidental own goal by Oghenekaro Etebo caused the Croatians to defeat the Nigerians by two points.

Next match sees Costa Rica taking on Serbia at Samara while Germany takes on Mexico at Luzhniki Stadium and Brazil takes on Switzerland at the Rostov Arena.

FIFA WORLD CUP RUSSIA 2018 - June 15, 2018

FIFA World Cup Russia 2018


The second day of the FIFA WORLD CUP RUSSIA 2018 sees Egypt taking on Uruguay at at the Ekaterinburg Arena, Morocco vs. Iran at St. Petersburg, and Portugal vs. Spain at Sochi's Fisht Stadium.

Beginning at the Ekaterinburg side, for the Group A, Uruguay has left Egypt pointless after scoring just one goal, courtesy of Jose Gimenez's last-minute attempt. At the St. Petersburg side, the accidental own goal mistake by Aziz Bouhaddouz cost the Moroccans a point, leaving the Iranians win the match. At the Sochi side, the Spaniards and the Portuguese battle ended in a 3-3 draw following Cristiano Ronaldo's charge to the goal twice as well as a penalty kick.

Four matches will happen this Saturday; France vs. Australia at Kazan, Argentina vs. Iceland at Spartak Stadium in Moscow, Peru vs. Denmark at Mordovia Arena in Saransk, and Croatia vs. Nigeria at Kaliningrad.

FIFA WORLD CUP RUSSIA 2018 - June 14, 2018

FIFA World Cup Russia 2018

The FIFA World Cup Russia 2018 has finally begun and within a month's course, teams from across the globe are gathered in Russia's biggest football stadiums to compete and become the FIFA World Cup champion in due course.

The opening match involves hosting nation Russia up against Saudi Arabia, and although there's a lot of questions that need to be answered at the end of this match, the world shocked as the hosting nation, Russia, left the Saudis scoreless after defeating them with just five points.

Iury Gazinsky scored the first goal of the match before Denis Cheryshev, who replaced the injured Alan Dzagoev, nicked another goal until the halftime and later, the combined efforts of Artem Dzyuba, Cheryshev, and Aleksandr Golovin led the hosting nation the first win of the championship. The world's not kind of surprised by Russia's win after the game.


The next match, due June 15, will have three matches; one is Egypt vs. Uruguay at the Ekaterinburg Arena on 1700 hours local time, Morocco vs. Iran at St. Petersburg on 1800 hours local time, and Portugal vs. Spain at Sochi's Fisht Stadium on 2100 hours local time.

USA wins historic rematch against Japan in 2015 Women's World Cup


Four years ago, the Japanese football team won the Women's World Cup against the USA after a penalty kick. Now, in present time, a historical rematch between the two nations has occurred at Vancouver, Canada, for the final round of the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup, only this time, it's the Americans that took the upper hand against Japan's finest female football players at the score of 5-2.

The key to this victory on this historic rematch is because of the USA's unstoppable goals during the first half and thanks to midfielder Carli Lloyd's unpredictable ways of scoring a goal.

FIFA World Cup 2014 FINALS


The two nations who rose from the top, Germany and Argentina, are battling to take home the coveted trophy and the title of FIFA WORLD CUP 2014 champion. Having spent the last 90 minutes of the match defending, kicking, passing, committing fouls, and whatever they can throw from their arsenal of the best football players of the nation, the epic climax to the FIFA WORLD CUP Brasil has became one of the biggest events in sports history.

Forward player Gotze is the German who scored the goal is the man who sent Germany taking home the coveted trophy and the prestigious title of FIFA WORLD CUP 2014 champion. Yes. 1-0. Germany wins. Germany is the 2014 WORLD CUP champions!

That's it! That concludes this year's World Cup in Brazil. The Germans are the winners of this year's World Cup and the baton has passed for the 2018 World Cup match in Russia.

FIFA World Cup 2014 - Brazil vs. Holland for 3rd place


Brazil and Holland, two losing nations are facing against each other in a play-off duel for the 3rd place. For Brazil, even though they didn't make it, they were glad they've hosted this year's World Cup to bring the soccer fever not for Brazil but for the rest of the world.

In the play-off for 3rd place, the nation that garnered the bronze is...the Dutch football team after their 0-3 win against Brazil. It's all over for the Brazilian football team! Well, even though they've reached the end of the road, the Brazilians will be remembered for their joyous moment competing with the world at their home turf.

With Holland officially placed 3rd, the epic finale starts tomorrow as everyone in the world ask "Who will win the World Cup? Germany or Argentina?" Don't miss the epic ending to this year's World Cup!

FIFA World Cup 2014 - Semi-Finals (Holland vs. Argentina)


The battle of Holland vs. Argentina in the FIFA WORLD CUP Brasil has ended with the penalty match when the regular match didn't let anyone scored a single goal from and when the penalty match kicked in, it was Argentina that sealed their fate on the final round after their 2-4 win against The Netherlands.

So, in the final match of the FIFA WORLD CUP Brasil, it's Germany vs. Argentina but who will be 3rd place? Brazil or Holland? The play-off for third place begins on Saturday, July 12.

As the end draws near to the FIFA WORLD CUP Brasil, looks like it's the end of the road for the hosting nation, Brazil, in the fight against Germany in the semi-final match. With the score of 1-7, looks like the Brazilians will have to make do in the "play-off for third place" match against which country is going to lose tomorrow. Yes. Tomorrow's semi-finals will involve Holland and Argentina.

FIFA World Cup 2014 - Quarter Finals (Part Two)


It's official; the countries that are joining the semi-finals of the FIFA World Cup Brasil are Germany, Brazil, Argentina, and Holland. Looks like the list keeps on trimming down until the victor is judged.

In the last day of the quarter finals, we witnessed that the Argentinians never spared the Belgians when it comes to scoring a goal and just one goal is enough to send Argentina to the semi-finals. Meanwhile the match between Netherlands and Costa Rica never scored a single stint on their regular time but when the penalty kicks in, its Holland that flipped the tables of Costa Rica at the score of 4-3.

Semi-finals starts at July 8 with Brazil taking on Germany.

FIFA World Cup 2014 - Quarter Finals (Part One)


The quarter finals of the FIFA WORLD CUP Brasil has begun and the climax draws near as Germany and Brasil are advancing to the semi finals.

In the battle between the French and the Germans, a single score from Germany is more than enough to bring the French national football team down to their knees while in the match between Brazil vs. Colombia, it's the hosting nation, Brazil, still going on strong after their 2-1 win against Colombia.

Tomorrow's match on the quarter finals will be Argentina vs. Belgium and Holland vs. Costa Rica.

The Round of 16 match has come to the close and the last two matches has been quite an explosive for the spectators when the matches reached the extra time like in the case of Argentina vs. Switzerland and Belgium vs. USA. Thanks to extra time, Argentina and Belgium are advanced to the Quarterfinals!

FIFA World Cup 2014 - Round of 16 (Part Three)


Two African nations are officially out from the FIFA WORLD CUP Brasil and two European nations are advancing to the next round as France and Germany made the rounds against Nigeria and Algeria. In the France vs. Nigeria match, two goals are enough for France to send the Nigerians packing their bags, wondering what might have been, after the score of 2-0. In the Germany vs. Algeria match, the extra time sent the Germans winning against the Algerians at the score of 2-1.

Tomorrow, it's Argentina vs. Switzerland and Belgium vs. USA.

FIFA World Cup 2014 - Round of 16 (Part Two)


In the second day of the FIFA WORLD CUP Brasil Round of 16 match, Holland and Costa Rica were emerged as the winners on this match. In the Holland vs. Mexico match, the Dutch gave everything they've got to secure their spot to the semi-finals and they've won the match against the Mexicans at the score of 2-1. Meanwhile in the Costa Rica vs. Greece, the 1-1 tie lead to a penalty match where at the score of 5-3, Costa Rica advanced to the semi-finals.

Tomorrow, it's two European nations against two African nations as France takes on Nigeria while Germany takes on Algeria. Obrigado!

FIFA World Cup 2014 - Round of 16 (Part One)


The Round of 16 match on the FIFA WORLD CUP Brasil has begun and the remaining 16 countries are slugging against each other to vie for the semi-finals.

First, there's the match between hosting nation Brazil and Chile. In this match, they've tied at the end, leading the game to a penalty match where Brazil wins at the score of 3-2. Then, the match between Colombia and Uruguay ended with Colombia wins the match at the score of 2-0.

Tomorrow on the Round of 16 match, it's Holland taking on Mexico and Costa Rica slugging against the Greeks.

FIFA World Cup 2014 - Day 15


The Group Stage of the FIFA WORLD CUP Brasil is finally over and the countries participating for the Round of 16 match are Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Uruguay, France, Nigeria, Germany, Algeria, Holland, Mexico, Costa Rica, Greece, Argentina, Switzerland, Belgium, and the USA.

Anyway, on the 15th day, we see Portugal finished the feud with Ghana after the 2-1 score, the Germans won the war against USA at the score of 0-1, Belgians gave South Koreans a good kicking at the score of 0-1, and the fight between Algeria and Russia ended in a draw, with one goal each.

But no matter though, the remaining 16 nations eligible for the Round of 16 match are vowed to do their best to keep playing to the end.

Round of 16 begins on June 28, 2014, 13:00 Brazil time with Brazil vs. Chile and Colombia vs. Uruguay.

FIFA World Cup 2014 - Day 14

In Day 14 of the FIFA WORLD CUP Brasil, four games were occurred and while those three showed excitement for the fans, the latter is proven to be rather disappointing and a waste of time and money spent for the tickets.

In the Nigeria vs. Argentina match, the Argentinians advanced to the Round of 16 match against Nigeria after the score of 2-3 while Bosnia and Herzegovina prevented Iran's all out attack and finished at the score of 3-1 then the Swiss shown no mercy against Honduras and ended in the score of 0-3 and finally, the Ecuador vs. France match. You can really tell why it was a very disappointing match because not one single team managed to score one!

Tomorrow, which of the last eight countries to advance on the Round of 16? There's Portugal vs. Ghana, USA vs. Germany, South Korea vs. Belgium, and Algeria vs. Russia, vying for their position to the Round of 16 match.

FIFA World Cup 2014 - Day 13


It's the 13th day of the FIFA WORLD CUP Brasil and on this day, the Italy vs. Uruguay match ended with Uruguay that pinned down the Italian heavyweights at the score of 0-1. Then, the Costa Rica vs. England match ended in an utter disappointed because none of the teams scored just one goal. In the Japan vs. Colombia match, looks like Japan was shunned from their loss against the Colombian footballers at the score of 1-4. And in the Greece vs. Ivory Coast match, the Greeks shown no mercy against the Ivory Coast after the score of 2-1.

In tomorrow's match, four games will be occurring with Nigeria taking on Argentina up to Ecuador vs. France. Which country will advance to the Round of 16? Find out soon...

FIFA World Cup 2014 - Day 12


On this day, the Dutch never let their Chilean opponents score not even a single score while two goals is enough for the Dutch national football team to win. Meanwhile, Spain beats Australia by three goals. Then, the hosting nation, Brazil, stole the spotlight from Cameroon after the match ended in a 1-4, in favor of the Brazilians. And lastly, the Mexicans unleashed their wave of fury against Croatia, finishing the game with the score of 1-3.

Tomorrow, four games will be occurred from the Italy vs. Uruguay match up to the Greece vs. Ivory Coast match.
