FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 - Day 8

 

Japan v Costa Rica, Belgium v Morocco, Croatia v Canada, and Spain v Germany are the highlights of the 8th day of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

Costa Rica's one-point strike crushed Japan to its knees while Morocco's two-pointer left Belgium scoreless. Croatia beats Canada at a score of 4-, courtesy of Lovro Majer's performance, and the match between Spain and Germany ended in a draw with each scored a point.

Tunisia v Australia, Poland v Saudi Arabia, France v Denmark, and Argentina v Mexico are the highlights of the 7th day of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

Australia left Tunisia pointless after defeating them with a point while Poland left Saudi Arabia scoreless after a two-point victory. France beats Denmark at the score of 2-1, and Argentina left Mexico scoreless after defeating them by two points.

Thanks to Ramin Rezaeian's performance, Iran has left Wales scoreless after defeating them at the score of two. Meanwhile, Senegal beats Qatar at the score of 3-1, the match between The Netherlands and Ecuador ended in a one-point tie, and a scoreless tie between England and the United States.

Switzerland left Cameroon scoreless after Breel Embolo scored the Swiss a one-point victory. Meanwhile, Portugal beats Ghana at the score of 3-2, the match between Uruguay and South Korea ended in a scoreless draw, and Brazil's Richarlison nailed a two-point flawless victory against Serbia.

The second day of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 features  England v Iran, Senegal v Netherlands, and the United States v Wales.

England defeated Iran at the score of 6-2 with Jack Grealish the star player of the game. Meanwhile, The Netherlands has left Senegal goalless at the score of 2 with Davy Klaassen the MVP. Lastly, the match between the United States and Wales ended in a tie with a score of one each.

FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 - Day 1

 


The FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 has officially begun with a rapturous opening ceremony with performances by Jungkook of a mega-popular K-Pop boy group BTS. After the opening ceremony, the first match of the event, Ecuador vs. Qatar, is underway.

Ecuador drew the first blood of the event after defeating the hosting country Qatar at the score of 0-2, in favor of Ecuador, with Enner Valencia making headlines as this game's star player.

FIFA WORLD CUP RUSSIA 2018 FINAL

Over the course of the month, the FIFA World Cup Russia 2018 event has became one heck of a rollercoaster sports fans got into. There has been some controversies, heartbreaks, sense of humor, upsides, downsides, it's everything this match had from start to finish.

And now, all roads ended to this, France vs. Croatia at the heart of the Russian capital city Moscow. The crowds gathered at the Luzhniki Stadium to witness the day of verdict, a game where everything ends, everything begins, and what a thriller the epic finale delivered.

On that game, as Croatians got shocked when Mario Mandzukic scored at both sides, either an accidental own goal or a proper goal, the French gave it all to end the FIFA World Cup Russia 2018 by defeating it at the score of 4-2. Antoine Griezmann, Paul Pogba and Kylian Mbappe's goals were more than enough to secure their second World Cup title.

Before France and Croatia are going for an all-out finale at the Russian capital, the two teams that are defeated in the semi-finals, England and Belgium, are competing for who will be placed third in the game's rankings and it happened at St. Petersburg.

The end is near as the FIFA World Cup Russia 2018 is reaching its Semi-Final phase as the final four are going all out as they battle themselves for the spot at the finals happening on the 15th of July at the Luzhniki Stadium.

Wrapping up the Semi-Finals is a match between Croatia and England and what a dramatic battle this match is. When both teams scored one in the whole match, an extra game triggered and the one who made it past through this decider is none other than Mario Mandzukic, propelling Croatia to a 2-1 win against England and completing the final two teams to battle in the grand finale at the Russian capital city.

The end is near as the FIFA World Cup Russia 2018 is reaching its Semi-Final phase as the final four are going all out as they battle themselves for the spot at the finals happening on the 15th of July at the Luzhniki Stadium.

First of the semi final match is France vs. Belgium, held at St. Petersburg Stadium, and in that match, the French has defeated the Belgians, all thanks to Samuel Umtiti's near-post header in second half. Although France secured the spot at the finals, the Belgians are lying in dormant as they have to wait for the next losing team to face head-on in a match for third place on the eve of the finals.

The final four is all set as Sweden takes on England while Russia takes on Croatia, gunning for the latter half of the spot in the FIFA World Cup Russia 2018.

Beginning at Samara Arena, looks like the Queen will be delighted to see that England finally secured the spot at the semis after a Dele-Maguire combo defeated the Swedish team. And finally, in Fisht Stadium, and probably the most interesting match to remember, as Russia and Croatia scored two goals at the end of the game, penalty kicks began and by the score of 3-4 penalty goals, Croatia finally defeated the might of the Russians. The hosting nation has fallen after their intimidating record throughout the entire World Cup.

The final four are now complete as France, Belgium, England, and Croatia secured their spots at the semi-finals and it all begins on the 10th of July with France taking on Belgium.

The quarterfinals of the FIFA World Cup Russia 2018 has began and the final 8 are about to be dwindled down to four as the teams are vying for their spot at the semi-finals. It began with Uruguay taking on France at Nizhny Novgorod Stadium while Brazil taking on Belgium at Kazan Arena.

Beginning at Nizhny Novgorod, looks like Diego Godin's defensive instincts ended up on the wrong side of the pitch following a goal by the French and because of his questionable defense, they lost to La Celeste by two points. In Kazan, meanwhile, Brazil got embarrassed by Fernandinho's "own goal" accident, which sees them kicked out by the Belgians at the score of 1-2.

With France and Belgium now on the final four, the quarterfinals continue with Sweden vs. England and Russia vs. Croatia.

The Round of 16 Knockouts of the FIFA World Cup Russia 2018 reaches its conclusion with Sweden takes on Switzerland while the Colombians taking on the English, completing the final 8 set for the quarter-finals.

Sweden kicked the Swiss team out of the World Cup after a goal by Forsberg. Then, as the game between Colombia and England ended in a one-point goal, England wins the match after scoring four penalties out of Colombia's three.

The final 8 are now set and the quarter finals begin on the 6th of July with Uruguay taking on France at Nizhny Novgorod Stadium while Brazil taking on Belgium at Kazan Arena.

The Round of 16 Knockouts of the FIFA World Cup Russia 2018 continues with Brazil taking on Mexico and Belgium taking on Japan.

Brazil kicked the Mexicans out of the tourney after a two-point goal that left the opponents scoreless. All thanks to Neymar Jr.'s superb performance for the team. Also, it was a sad day for Japan as the Belgians took down the Samurai Blue by 3-2.

Next time, Sweden takes on Switzerland while the Colombians taking on the English as the road to the final 8 is nearing its completion.

The Round of 16 Knockouts of the FIFA World Cup Russia 2018 continues with the Spanish taking on the formidable Russians while the Croatians taking on the Denmark.

Both games ended in draw but since this is the Round of 16, post-game penalties served as the decider and in the first one, the Russians are advancing to the quarters with four penalty kicks over Spain's three. In the match between Croatia vs. Denmark, meanwhile, Croatia won by three penalty kicks over two from the Danes.

There's so much to question about the Russians' performance apart from being the hosting team that swept through the competition but let's leave it for now because the next match of the Knockouts will see Brazil taking on Mexico and Belgium taking on Japan.

The FIFA World Cup Russia 2018 is now on its Knockout Stage and the first one involves Uruguay taking on Portugal and France taking on Argentina.

Starting at Kazan, Kylian Mbappe became the star of the 4-3 win for the French after kicking the Messi-starrer Argentina team out of the game. Definitely one of the most exciting games occurred in this year's World Cup. Meanwhile, in Fisht, Cavani led Uruguay's La Celeste to victory against Portugal at the score of 2-1.

Next time, the Spanish are taking on the formidable Russians while the Croatians taking on the Denmark as the Round of 16 Knockouts continues.

That day marks the final day of the Group Phase before heading off to the Round of 16 Knockout Phase. Japan takes on Poland at Volgograd Arena, Senegal takes on Colombia at Samara Arena, Panama takes on Tunisia at Mordovia Arena, and England takes on Belgium at Kaliningrad.

Beginning at Volgograd Arena, despite being defeated by Poland by one point, Japan progressed to the Round of 16. At Samara, meanwhile, Colombia, thanks to Y. Mina, kicked out the Senegal team by a point, sealing their spot to the Knockout Phase. In Mordovia, Tunisia will head home high with their first Word Cup win in 40 years after beating Panama 2-1. And in Kaliningrad, Belgium defeated England by a point, leaving the Belgians taking on the Japanese while England takes on Colombia in knockouts.

And that does it for the Group Phase and with a break today, the remaining teams got a chance to prepare themselves before the Knockout Phase starts at the 30th of June, with Uruguay taking on Portugal and France taking on Argentina.

South Korea taking on Germany at the Kazan Arena, Mexico vs. Sweden at Ekaterinburg Arena, Serbia vs. Brazil at Spartak Stadium, and Switzerland vs. Costa Rica at Nizhny Novgorod Stadium.That's Day 14 of the FIFA World Cup Russia 2018.

Beginning in Kazan, South Korea kicked the Germans out of the tourney by two points in the middle of stoppage time. In Ekaterinburg, meanwhile, because of Alvarez's accidental own goal and some impressive performances by Augustinsson and Granqvist, Sweden's three point victory trumped the Mexicans but Mexico managed to survive the tourney after the fall of the Germans. In Spartak, two points is enough for Brazil to finish the winless Serbia off the tourney. And in Nizhny Novgorod Stadium, despite a two-point draw, Costa Rica has left the FIFA World Cup Russia 2018 with Switzerland advancing to the Round of 16.

The next match is the last of the Group Phase before heading off to the Round of 16 Knockout Phase. Japan takes on Poland at Volgograd Arena, Senegal takes on Colombia at Samara Arena, Panama takes on Tunisia at Mordovia Arena, and England takes on Belgium at Kaliningrad.
