- Bagong Henerasyon (BH) Party-list Rep. Robert Nazal reiterated his demand for the removal of Unprogrammed Funds from the National Budget. Nazal stressed that every peso owned by the people must be fully monitored and protected. Nazal said that insertions in the budget should end and that the bidding and procurement processes or spending on projects and programs, should also be open to the public.

- The remains of former Defense Secretary and Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Juan Ponce Enrile arrived at the Department of National Defense (DND) in Camp Aguinaldo past 1 p.m. Enrile was given arrival honors by the military in recognition of his long service to the country.

- Senate President pro-tempore Ping Lacson has submitted to Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr., the handwritten testimony of former DPWH Usec. Roberto Bernardo, who named other personalities who used the President's name in connection with obtaining kickbacks for anomalous flood control projects.

- The US Senate approved a bill to release the Jeffrey Epstein files, sending it to US President Donald Trump to sign it.

- The Jeep Recon was unveiled. The newest EV SUV features a 650HP electric powertrain.

- EA Sports F1 25 video game will have a 2026 Season expansion next year, with an all-new F1 game coming in 2027.

- The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) has denied speculation that Viva Max artist Gina Lima was beaten, after an autopsy revealed that the bruises on her thigh were not fatal. Lima was found dead in the condo unit of her ex-boyfriend Ivan Ronquillo in QC. In a press briefing at Camp Crame, QCPD Spokesperson P/Maj. Jennifer Gannaban said that, based on the Regional Forensic Unit, Lima's lungs were congested and edematous, while she also had heart congestion.
