- The MalacaƱang announced that Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin and Budget Secretary Amenah Pangandaman have resigned from their posts, after their names were implicated in the flood control issue. In addition, the Presidential Legislative Liaison Office (PLLO) Usec. Adrian Bersamin, the grandson of Lucas Bersamin's nephew, has also resigned.

- During the INC rally last weekend, Senator Imee Marcos claimed that President Bongbong Marcos is using drugs.

- Preparations for Traslacion 2026 were publicized. In a press briefing at Quiapo Church, Rev. Father Robert Arellano, Spokesperson of the Minor Basilica of Quiapo, announced that from December 31 to January 9, the Feast of Quiapo will be celebrated. The theme for this year's Traslacion is "Dapat Siyang Tumaas at Ako Nama'y Bumaba" which is from John 3:30, to deepen devotion to Jesus Nazareno, not to the statue.
