Terry Ridon has urged the Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI) to conduct a broader, deeper, and impartial investigation into the botched and anomalous flood control projects. According to Ridon, the ICI should ensure that its investigation leads to the filing of cases against individuals named in the Senate and House hearings who are involved in corruption related to infrastructure projects.
- Typhoon Halong is detected outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility. The typhoon is spotted 2,005km east northeast of extreme northern Luzon, according to PAGASA.
