- Severe Tropical Storm Opong maintained its strength while moving westward over the Philippine Sea. In PAGASA's TROPICAL CYCLONE BULLETIN # 10 today, September 25, the eye of the storm was located 300 kilometers East of Guiuan, Eastern Samar. The storm has maximum sustained winds of 110 km/h near the center, gustiness of up to 135 km/h, and is moving westward at 15 km/h.
