- It is estimated that only about 10,000 individuals will participate in various anti-corruption rallies in Metro Manila in conjunction with the commemoration of the anniversary of Martial Law this coming Sunday, September 21, according to the Philippine National Police.

- Davao City 1st District Rep. Paolo Duterte challenged House Majority Leader and Ilocos Norte Rep. Sandro Marcos and his father, Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., to undergo a hair follicle test. This was Duterte's response to Rep. Marcos's statement that he would have known the real story regarding the change in House leadership if he had been going to work and the session instead of being busy looking for ₱51 billion earmarked for flood control projects in his district.

- Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. signed Republic Act 12287 or the Declaration of State of Imminent Disaster Act, which empowers the government to declare a “State of Imminent Disaster” before a calamity strikes.

- The PH Department of Justice panel of prosecutors held a hearing regarding the missing sabungeros.

- US President Donald Trump, during his UK visit, praises the relationship between the two countries in a state banquet speech. President Trump left Windsor to meet with Prime Minister Keir Starmer for high-level talks ahead of next week's UN General Debate, where a majority of countries are in favor of the recognition of a Palestinian state, which was strongly opposed by the US and Israel.

- The inaugural Extreme H race will be held in Qiddiya City this October 9-11, days after the Extreme E final race.

- Nissan is restructuring its global design operations with the closure and downsizing of select studios in various regions. The Japanese carmaker is shutting down design offices in California and São Paolo, while England and Japan will be downsized. All design operations will then be funneled into the remaining five hubs in Los Angeles, Shanghai, and the reduced offices in London, Tokyo, and Atsugi.
