- The PH Department of Education (DepEd) has called on the public to join the ‘Brigada Eskwela 2025,’ part of the preparations for the upcoming opening of School Year 2025-2026 on June 16. DepEd Secretary Sonny Angara emphasized that Brigada Eskwela is more than just repairing schools because it is a bayanihan movement.

- A magnitude 3.5 quake struck Tandag City, Surigao del Sur.

- About 16 volcanic quakes were recorded around Mt. Bulusan in the past 24 hours, according to PHIVOLCS. 6 quakes were recorded around Kanlaon Volcano, meanwhile.

- The United States has vetoed the UNSC demand for a Gaza ceasefire.

- The Trump administration has issued a full entry ban on 12 countries, including Afghanistan, Myanmar, Iran, and Libya. US President Donald Trump also imposed restrictions on nationals from seven countries.

- A special Pininfarina Battista was unveiled in honor of Pininfarina's 95th anniversary. Dubbed the Novantacinque, it is the final edition of the Battista EV hypercar as production is set to end this year.

- Valtteri Bottas says he's interested in joining the Cadillac F1 team, saying that his time in F1 is not over.
