- The Office of the Vice President announced that Philippine Vice President Sara Duterte has traveled to Australia for a personal trip. While there, she will attend the "Free Duterte Now" rally, which is scheduled for June 22, 2025, in Melbourne.

- Incoming Senator Tito Sotto is ready to lead the impeachment trial of Vice President Sara Duterte in the 20th Congress. This is if his fellow lawmakers want him to be the Senate President of the next Congress.

- Davao City 1st District Rep. Paolo Duterte has insisted that his father, former President Rodrigo Duterte, who he said was illegally abducted and imprisoned, is not a criminal. This was Rep. Duterte's message, as he marked the 100th day yesterday that his father has been detained at the International Criminal Court (ICC) detention facility in The Hague.
