China, the global superpower where the first-ever Formula E race was held in 2014. As they are back for the Shanghai ePrix, the teams are ready to demonstrate the full arsenal of the GEN3 EVO machines amid the rainy weather conditions that posed a greater challenge to these machines.

In the first part, DS PENSKE delivered their first 1-2 finish in the GEN3 EVO era with Maximilian Guenther the winner and Jean-Eric Vergne the 2nd placer. McLaren's Taylor Barnard finished 3rd. In the final part, meanwhile, Jaguar driver Nick Cassidy made his comeback win against the two Porsche drivers, Pascal Wehrlein and Antonio Felix Da Costa.
After Shanghai, the two Porsche drivers are tailing Nissan's Oliver Rowland, with Wehrlein 68 points behind Rowland, 171 - 103, and Antonio Felix Da Costa in 3rd with 88 points.
The next race is the Jakarta ePrix this June 21, 2025.
