- The Philippine National Police Anti-Kidnapping Group (PNP-AKG) in collaboration with the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) successfully rescued a kidnapped 14-year-old student studying at a high-end private school in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig.

- The Police Regional Office Bangsamoro has formed a Special Investigation Task Group "Vice Mayor Samama" to ensure the speedy delivery of justice in the shooting of Vice Mayor Mohammad Omar Samama on Monday. According to PRO BAR Regional Director BGen. Romeo Macapaz, the SITG will focus on gathering information that will pave the way for resolving the case and identifying those responsible for the incident.

- The 2025 F1 Academy season will reintroduce Reverse Grid races. In this setup, Race 1 will utilize a reverse grid format. The starting grid for Race 1 will be determined by reversing the top eight drivers from the Qualifying classification. All other drivers will start based on their qualifying positions. Points will be awarded to the top eight finishers, and an additional point will be given to the driver who records the fastest lap time among the top eight classified drivers.
