- PH Foreign Affairs Secretary Enrique Manalo and his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi had a frank conversation regarding the West Philippine Sea issue. According to Manalo, their phone conversation ended with a clear understanding of both sides of this issue.

- The Philippine National Police warned security agencies not to wear Santa costumes this Christmas season. According to the PNP, the guidelines for security agencies said that security guards should wear complete uniforms, nothing more. A maximum fine of 500 to 1000 pesos will be slapped for guards who violate the uniform rule while agencies will pay 10,000 to 20,000 pesos for violations. A suspension or cancelation of licenses will be slapped on security agencies if violate too much.

- According to Hamas, over 20,000 people were killed in Gaza since the war began after the October 7 attacks. Meanwhile, the UN Gaza ceasefire vote was delayed until Thursday as the US says the world must put pressure on Hamas, not Israel. Israel PM Benjamin Netanyahu reiterated his commitment to continue the offense until all of Hamas is wiped out.

- Washington releases a close associate of the Venezuelan president Nicolas Maduro in exchange for prisoners held by Caracas.

- The 2024MY Ford F-150 Raptor R's 5.2L supercharged V8 engine will produce 720HP of power output, making it the most powerful production off-roader in the world.
