- The PH Department of Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista has filed a criminal case against two accusers in the alleged corruption of the LTFRB. Charged before the Department of Justice were Manibela chairman Mar Valbuena and journalist Ira Panganiban.

- The Energy Regulatory Commission has denied the NGCP's plea for amended transmission rate-setting. The regulatory body has rendered that decision based on the petition of the transmission firm that was lodged in December last year.

- US President Joe Biden will visit Israel on Wednesday as Hamas rocket attacks continue and humanitarian crisis grows in Gaza. Moments ago, President Biden was "shocked and sickened" over the killing of a six-year-old Palestinian-American boy in a knife attack in Illinois.

- The UN operation in Gaza is on the verge of collapse as the Rafa border crossing between Gaza and Egypt remains closed, amid a growing humanitarian crisis. Iran says the prospects of the Israel-Hamas war spreading to other fronts is inevitable.

- The Euro 2024 qualifier match between Belgium and Sweden got interrupted when two Swedish nationals were shot dead in Brussels with the suspect still out in the open, according to police. Police believed it to be a suspected Islamist attack.

- Nissan will showcase the Hyper Tourer Concept at this month's Japan Mobility Show.

- A live-action adaptation of Disney's Gargoyles was announced with Gary Dauberman and James Wan's Atomic Monster bringing the TV classic to life on Disney+ soon.

- Rams starting cornerback Derion Kendrick was arrested and faces a felony charge of carrying a concealed weapon.

- Talk show veteran Oprah Winfrey disputes US Republican Mitt Romney's claim that she asked to join him on a Unity Presidential Ticket.
