Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem is an animated movie that features a fresh new take on the iconic cartoon heroes, featuring an all-star ensemble giving voices to familiar favorites such as Nicolas Cantu as Leo, Shamon Brown Jr, as Mikey, Micha Abbey as Donnie, Brady Noon as Raph, Jackie Chan as Master Splinter, and Ayo Edebiri as April O'Neil.
Even the rogue gallery of mutant villains got voiced by celebrities as well such as Ice Cube as Superfly, Seth Rogen as Bebop, John Cena as Rocksteady, Paul Rudd as Mondo Gecko, Rose Byrne as Leatherhead, Post Malone as Ray Fillet, Hannibal Buress as Genghis Frog, Natasia Demetriou as Wing Nut, Maya Rudolph as Cynthia Utrom, and Giancarlo Esposito as Baxter Stockman.
This new breed of TMNT delivers a double hit of butt-kicking action and an endless barrage of jokes only Gen Z kids can truly understand, especially the scene Jungkook must not watch. Yes. Jungkook, please don't watch this because... "insert BTS joke here".
It's just like the Tales of the TMNT TV show a while back in so many ways. When the butt-kicking commences, the laughter begins and with this movie, the gags go full force all the way to their finale where everything starts to unravel.
Some would call it corny, most say this is the best TMNT movie of this generation. Sure, it is a corny movie indeed but we all love corny jokes. This is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, redefined for the Gen Z youth.
