- Tropical Depression Dodong is last spotted at Lasam, Cagayan, according to PAGASA as Signal #1 is in place in the northern parts of Luzon.

- San Miguel Corporation released a statement on the heavy flooding that plagued SLEX. According to the statement, the drainage problem is possibly the cause of the flooding in the Bicutan section of the Skyway following continuing moderate to heavy rains from 6pm on Wednesday, July 12 until Thursday, July 13 resulting in heavy traffic on both directions of the expressway.

- The Land Transportation Office will roll out e-driver's licenses this July 26th.

- 87 bodies were found in the grave in Darfur, Sudan, with evidence they'd been killed by paramilitary forces.

- Pita Limjaroenrat, the Thai opposition leader, has lost a parliamentary vote to confirm him as prime minister despite his recent election victory.

- The Hyundai IONIQ 5 N was unveiled ahead of this weekend's Goodwood Festival of Speed. As the first electric N car, the IONIQ 5 N features two electric motors generating up to 650PS of power with the NGB engaged for 10 seconds, capable of hitting 0-100kph in 3.4 seconds, and a top speed of 260kph. It even comes with other features such as N Drift Optimiser, N Active Sound+, and more.

Following the actors' union's strike, numerous Hollywood actors announced their historic walkout.
