ABB FIA Formula E S9 - Rome ePrix

The Gen 3 machines have touched down at Rome for the Rome ePrix leg of the ninth season ABB FIA Formula E World Championship and looks like the vicious heatwave adds some challenge to the new machines, especially if this race is Maserati's home turf.

In the first part of this penultimate event of the ninth season, Mitch Evans of Jaguar closely defeated Nick Cassidy of Envision while Maximilian Gunther gave Maserati their first podium in motor racing since 1957 by finishing third. In the second part, meanwhile, Jake Dennis of Avalanche Andretti emerged as the winner while Norman Nato of Nissan finished 2nd and Sam Bird finished 3rd.

As Jake Dennis is leading with 195 points while Nick Cassidy's in 2nd with 171 points and Mitch Evans is in third with 151 points, who will be the first champion of the Gen 3 era? Don't miss the ABB FIA Formula E S9 finale in London this July 29-30!
