ABB FIA Formula E S9 FINALE

The introduction of the GEN3 era of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship delivered results way beyond expectations. From the new generation's maiden voyage in Mexico where Jake Dennis of Avalanche Andretti became the first winner of the Gen 3 era to breaking the indoor top speed record, from venturing uncharted roads from Hyderabad to Portland, the GEN3 era really is a blast.

All roads lead to London, UK, for the two-part season finale where the first GEN3 world champion will be crowned, and with Jake Dennis leading, this could be his only chance to rewrite history.

In the first part of the season finale, Mitch Evans emerged as the winner while Jake Dennis finished 2nd and Sebastien Buemi finished 3rd. In the final part, which is the final race of the ninth season, Nick Cassidy emerged as the winner while Evans placed 2nd and Dennis finished 3rd.

With the first season of the GEN3 era well and truly over, Jake Dennis of Avalanche Andretti has crowned the first world champion of the GEN3 era while the Envision team was named the first team champions of the GEN3 era.

Congratulations to the winners of the ninth season of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship!

This concludes the ninth season of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship. Next season will mark the 10th anniversary of Formula E and with the addition of the Tokyo ePrix, expect this 10th anniversary to offer the once-in-a-lifetime moment the world should never miss.

See you next season!
