- Televangelist and founder of the Christian Broadcasting Network, Pat Robertson, passed away at the age of 93. Robertson, best known for being the host of The 700 Club, helped cement the Republican Party's enduring alliance with evangelical voters.

- NASCAR's Garage 56 project will spawn a docuseries coming soon to Prime Video.

- Chevrolet unveiled a special Camaro ZL1 Garage 56 edition in honor of the NASCAR Garage 56 project and as part of the final offerings for the sixth-generation Camaro.

- Kamui Kobayashi will make his NASCAR debut at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway this August 13.

- The Lexus GX was unveiled and it runs on the GA-F platform while being powered by a V6 turbo engine at launch with a turbo hybrid variant to follow later.
