- All six passengers onboard the Cessna plane that crashed in Isabela was found dead, according to the Isabela Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office.

- The deadline for SIM registration in the Philippines may extend, according to the DICT.

- According to the DILG, the house of Negros Oriental 3rd district representative Arnulfo Teves was raided by authorities.

- Ukraine was hit by hypersonic missiles launched by Russian forces in the latest barrage.

- A deadly shooting occurred at the Jehovah's Witness meeting hall in Hamburg. According to authorities, the suspect was believed to be dead, although it is unclear if the suspect is among the six or seven fatalities reported by the media.

- According to reports, a splinter group of the Gulf Cartel has apologized for kidnapping four US citizens last week, killing two of them, and has turned over the men it says are responsible.

- A Taliban governor in Afghanistan's Balkh province was killed in a suicide attack claimed by the Islamic State militants. Mohammad Dawood Muzammil was killed in his office in Mazar-e Sharif. He's the most senior Taliban official to be killed since the militants retook Afghanistan two years ago.

- Former boss of Goldman Sachs Malaysia, Roger Ng, was sentenced to 10 years in prison for his involvement in the 1MDB corruption scandal.

- Former F1 driver Jenson Button will make his NASCAR debut at COTA as part of his three-race partnership with Mobil 1. After COTA, Button will race at Chicago and Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

- Drivers Maite Caceres and Megan Gilkes are joining in the inaugural F1 Academy season. Caceres will represent Campos while Gilkes will represent Rodin Carlin Racing.

- The original Naruto TV anime will get a four-episode special in honor of the TV series's 20th anniversary.

- According to prosecutors, former NBA All-Star Shawn Kemp was freed from jail and he's not facing charges following his arrest in a drive-by shooting in Washington state.

- Actor Robert Blake dies at the age of 89. Blake is an actor who faced accusations that he killed his wife in 2001. He was charged and acquitted but was later found liable for her death in civil court.
