- The Department of Migrant Workers announced that effective immediately, all applications of new, first-time household service workers bound for Kuwait are suspended.

- US President Joe Biden delivered this year's State of the Union. In his address, Biden urges bitterly divided lawmakers to overcome their differences. The President challenges Republicans on debt and the economy as well.

- Top Ukrainian officials say Moscow will attempt to mount with freshly mobilized troops in the coming weeks.

- The Biohazard/Resident Evil franchise announced Biohazard/Resident Evil Death Island 3DCG movie hitting theaters this summer 2023.

- The live-action Kimi ni Todoke drama series will stream on Netflix this March 30th.

LeBron James surpassed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to become the NBA's all-time leading scorer during a match between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Oklahoma City Thunder. James eclipsed Abdul-Jabbar's mark of 38,387 career regular-season points on a fallaway 20ft shot with 10.2 seconds remaining in the third quarter of the game.

- Megadeth's new album draws lawsuit over its cover art.

- Disney will get to keep most of the perks that allowed the company to self-govern the land on its theme park resort for over five decades despite a Florida state bill allowing Governor Ron DeSantis to assume control of a special tax district.

- Famed Los Angeles Philharmonic Conductor Gustavo Dudamel is leaving L.A. and joining the New York Philharmonic this 2026.
