- The death toll from the M7.8 quake that rattled the Turkiye-Syria border exceeds 24,000.

- Ukraine's armed forces said two Russian missiles crossed the airspace of Moldova and Romania on their way to Ukraine.

- Protesters clash with police and damage vehicles outside a hotel that houses asylum seekers in the British city of Merseyside. Three people were arrested on suspicion of violent disorder.

- The F1 Academy all-female racing series has announced that Nerea Marti will be taking part in the inaugural season, representing Campos Racing. She's the second W Series driver to be taking part in F1 Academy after Bianca Bustamante.

- The new Pokemon anime series will air on TV Tokyo this April 14th, the new series will feature two new main characters.

- The Love Live! School Idol Project series has announced the "Link! Like! Love Live!" app coming this spring. The new app marks the debut of the Hasu no Sora Jogakuin School Idol Club featuring Nozomi Nirei as Kaho Hinoshita, Kokona Nokana as Sayaka Murano, Niina Hanamiya as Kozue Otomune, Kotoko Sasaki as Tsuzuri Yugiri, Kanna Kan as Rurino Osawa, and Kona Tsukine as Megumi Fujishima.

- Yoo Ah In was tested positive for marijuana while being investigated by the police for the illegal use of propofol.

- GOT7 member JAY B and content creator PURE.D confirmed that they have broken up.

- Golf legend Tiger Woods will be playing at next week's Genesis Invitational at the Riviera Country Club.

- Pro Football Hall of Famer Michael Irvin has filed a defamation lawsuit seeking $100 million in damages, alleging he was falsely accused of misconduct by a female employee at a hotel in Phoenix, AZ.
