Thanks to the home advantage, Miss USA R'Bonney Gabriel was crowned as the 71st Miss Universe, beating the likes of Venezuela's Amanda Dudamel, Dominican Republic's Andreina Martinez, and others.

In the pageant's Q&A segment, the candidates were asked how would they work to demonstrate this as an empowering and progressive organization if they win Miss Universe. R'Bonney said she'll use her victory to be a transformational leader while mentioning her experiences as an eco-friendly fashion designer, model, and sewing instructor with an excitement for life.

Congratulations to Miss USA R'Bonney Gabriel and the finalists of the 71st Miss Universe pageant!
