- Suspended BuCor Director General Gerald Q. Bantag is facing more criminal complaints. BuCor Acting Director General Gregorio Pio P. Catapang Jr. said the new complaints will be filed by BuCor personnel who claimed they were “hurt and maltreated” by Bantag.

- The Philippine Army is training its Army students to address backlogs in the capability development of its personnel and the "unintended impact" of RA 11709, a law that sets a mandatory three-year term for senior military officers.

- A low-pressure area is dumping more rain in parts of southern Luzon and Eastern Visayas, according to PAGASA.

- The White House says there were no visitor logs from President Joe Biden's Delaware home where classified documents were found. 

- Key persons of the opposition in Belarus will be put on trial in Absentia.

- Six people were shot dead at a house in central California in what police said it was a targeted attack by a drug cartel.

- Iranians living in Europe have protested outside the EU Parliament, demanding to list Iran's Revolutionary Guards as a terrorist group, accusing the Guards of playing the key role of suppressing anti-government protests.

- The co-pilot who was one of the casualties of the Nepal plane crash was married to a pilot who died in the Yeti Airlines accident in 2006. Anju Khatiwada joined Yeti Airlines in 2010, four years after her husband died while piloting a plane for the same airline.

- Amazon is reportedly parting ways with Jeremy Clarkson over his scathing column which took aim at Meghan Markle. Reports told that they  “won’t be working with Clarkson beyond seasons of The Grand Tour and Clarkson’s Farm that have already been commissioned.”

- Netflix unveiled a massive portfolio of Korean movies and series coming this 2023, which include the second season of Sweet Home, D.P., and the second half of the drama series The Glory. 

- The Australian Open has banned Russian and Belarusian flags after a Russian flag spotted hanging courtside during a match between Ukraine's Kateryna Baindl and Russia's Kamilla Rakhimova sparked controversy.

- Legendary Lindy Hop dancer Jean Veloz dies at the age of 98.

- Actor Kevin Spacey was honored at Italy's National Museum of Cinema in his first event since his sexual assault charges.
