- Philippine Vice President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte released the statement regarding the alleged rebranding of Martial Law. The VP denied claims that the DepEd is rebranding Martial Law into New Society.

Rishi Sunak will be appointed by King Charles III as UK's newest Prime Minister after Liz Truss submits her formal resignation. Sunak will lead the country's Conservative Party.

- Russia is to take its accusation that Ukraine is planning to drop a dirty bomb attack to the UN Security Council.

- US Attorney-General Merrick Garland is accusing China for undermining the country's justice system as he announced in diamonds against 13 of its nationals.

- Driver Logan Sargeant is set race for Williams Racing for the 2023 Formula 1 season, pending an FIA superlicence. Sargeant would be come the first American on the F1 grid since Alexander Rossi in 2015.

- The D4DJ franchise introduces a new unit called Abyssmare consisting of May'n as Neo, Yuka Aisaka as Sophia, Jiena Gaim as Elsie, and Misuzu Yamada as Weronika. They'll be making their debut in the Groovy Mix app game.

- BBC's Doctor Who TV series casts Yasmin Finney as Rose. The series's 60th-anniversary specials will air this November 2023 with David Tennant reprising his role as The Doctor, who is now on its 14th itineration, while Ncuti Gandwa's Doctor Who debut is due to air over the festive period in 2023.

- NBA commissioner Adam Silver said that the league's changes have greatly reduced incentives for tanking.
