- Former chancellor Rishi Sunak is projected to become UK's next prime minister after Boris Johnson abandoned his attempt to return to power.

- RT has suspended one of its presenters after he said Ukrainian children, who saw Russia's occupies during the Soviet era, should have been drowned in rivers or burned alive in their homes.

- US, UK, and France have condemned Russia's claim that it will use a "radioactive dirty bomb" on its own territory. Russia denied the claims.
