F1 2021: Rolex Turkish Grand Prix

The Intercity Istanbul Park roars back to life as the F1 2021 continues with the Turkish Grand Prix. With Lewis Hamilton slapped with a ten-grid penalty, will this be the chance for Max Verstappen to regain his lead on the standings?

The race began with Valtteri Bottas made a good start from the pole but because of the wet track conditions, there have been some mishaps that occurred during the race such as Pierre Gasly's trouble with Fernando Alonso that made the former slapped with a five-second penalty, Alonso penalized for impending Mick Schumacher, contact between Carlos Sainz and Vettel, and Yuki Tsunoda got spun.

As the race gets intense with every pit stops and tire change, there's no telling who came up on top until the climax came and the tables have turned.

Valtteri Bottas wins the Turkish Grand Prix while Max Verstappen finished 2nd and Sergio Perez finished 3rd.

With Verstappen on the podium, he regained the championship lead from Hamilton by six points, 262.5 vs. 256.5.

How long will the rivalry last? The next race will be at the Circuit of the Americas for the Aramco United States Grand Prix on the 24th of October, 2021.
