F9

After being delayed for a year due to the global pandemic, the latest chapter of The Fast Saga has arrived and this time, blood is definitely running deeper than oil as Dom and the crew are facing their biggest adversary yet.

F9

From the very first film launched in 2001 onwards, The Fast and the Furious forever changed not just the world of action movies but also the car culture because of the modified cars featured in the franchise. As the franchise evolved from street racing action to intense heist action on wheels with the craziest stunts ever imagined from driving through the Dubai skyscraper, dropping off from a cargo plane, the list goes on and on.

Now, The Fast Saga enters its ninth chapter, and with the end is near, F9 really is a sign that our favorite franchise is nearing its climax.

So, what's it all about F9, you may ask? At the start, Dom and Letty are living together as a couple and they gave birth to a baby boy named Brian. Just as we thought that they're living happily ever after, here comes the unexpected twist; Dom's brother named Jacob (played by wrestler turned actor John Cena) is out from the prison and into the open and joining alongside Cipher (played by Charlize Theron), the cyberterrorist last seen on The Fate of the Furious, Jacob has one purpose; to kill his brother.

Dom and the crew are prepared to take on the biggest challenge yet and with the surprise return of Han, things get even more interesting in this newest installment where sibling rivalry is taken to the extremes.

Han's surprise comeback is what made the fans shocked ever since the trailer went out and they've started asking questions about his return but anyway, while Han's return is quite a plot twist of this film, F9 is an all-out action thriller that still carries on The Fast Saga legacy; street racing, setups, heists, fight scenes, and the signature stunts that is definitely a franchise trademark from the magnet stuff and the part where Dom's Charger Hellcat Redeye goes Tarzan while chasing against Jacob in a Mustang while getting saved by a bomber. The Charger Tarzan stunt in this film will definitely make Bullitt look like The Jungle Book.

Of course, with Dom's Charger Redeye and Jacob's Mustang aside, F9 features a selection of rides such as the Acura NSX, a Toyota GR Supra driven by Han, and a Noble M600 driven by Mrs. Shaw (played by Dame Helen Mirren), among many others.

For twenty years, The Fast Saga has become the iconic franchise for the speedo boys and it has inspired many who want to live the ten-second lifestyle as seen in the films. For F9, it's a sign that the franchise is nearing its climax but while it's too early to tell, this latest chapter is proof that it still has some more high-octane fuel to crave speedo boys enjoying this film.

This is definitely the best way to celebrate 20 years of The Fast and the Furious franchise and as the saga's climax draws near, there's a lot of stuff to do after this. In the meantime, enjoy the latest installment of The Fast Saga anytime, anywhere.
