ABB FIA Formula E S7 - Puebla ePrix

Formula E has a new battleground for the seventh season and this newest addition is set on the outskirts of Puebla, Mexico. Called the Puebla ePrix, the best of Formula E are going all out to tackle this newest battleground in this two-race event.

The first part of the first-ever Puebla ePrix is packed with drama from start to finish with Maximilian Guenther using Attack Mode from the lead of the race, Jean-Eric Vergne's crash ended his race, a collision with Alex Lynn kicked Sam Bird out of the race, and a collision between Robin Frijns and Nyck De Vries. In the end, it's a 1-2 finish for Audi with Lucas di Grassi won the first part while Rene Rast finished 2nd while Edoardo Mortara of Venturi finished 3rd.

The final part, meanwhile, gets even more dramatic with Edoardo Mortara using Attack Mode, another bad day for De Vries, Sam Bird getting sandwiched, as Antonio Felix Da Costa crashed through the wall. After all the action in the final part of the Puebla ePrix. Mortara claims redemption with his victory against Porsche's Pascal Wehrlein, who got penalized by the addition of five seconds to his race time for improper use of FANBOOST, costing his second-place finish to Nick Cassidy while Oliver Rowland of Nissan got promoted to third place.

Post-Mexico, Mortara is now jumping at the top of the leaderboards and he's now ten points ahead of Robin Frijns, 72 vs. 62, while Da Costa's dropped to third place with 60 points after the recent incident.

The next race is in New York City from the 10th to the 11th of July, 2021.
