- Toyota unveiled the long-awaited GR Yaris hot hatch at the Tokyo Auto Salon. This three-door WRC special serves as the basis of next year's rally car and it's powered by a new 1.6L turbo engine producing 272PS of power and 370Nm of torque.

- New Pokemon news on the radar! Announced on the recent Pokemon Direct, they've announced Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Rescue Team DX for the Nintendo Switch, coming this March 6. Also, the Pokemon Sword and Shield games get expanded with the Expansion Pass featuring two new expansions coming this year, featuring new adventures, new features, and of course, new and returning Pokemon never seen in the Galar region to catch. The first expansion will be out at the end of June and the latter will be this Autumn 2020. In addition, the Pokemon Home cloud service will be active next month.

- The prosecution filed another request for a pretrial detention warrant for Seungri.

- Swing Entertainment will be refunding fans who purchased membership for X1’s official fan club. The move comes after X1 disbanded earlier this week following the Produce franchise's vote manipulation controversy.
