FIA WTCR 2019 - Race of Malaysia

Malaysia's prestigious Sepang Circuit is now back in the world of motorsports and with the 2019 FIA World Touring Car Cup presented by Oscaro reached its endgame, what better way to end not just the year of racing but also a decade of motor racing than bringing the most chaotic but thrilling season finale the motoring world will never forget? With Nortbert Michelisz, Esteban Guerrieri, and Yvan Muller trying to gun for the title, the WTCR Super Finale is the definite decider on who will win the title.

In the first race of the epic Super Finale at Sepang, Nortbert Michelisz extended his points lead with the win, while in the reverse-grid penultimate race of the season full of chaos in the midst of the overcast, Esteban Guerrieri wins to settle the score with Michelisz in the finale where the title of King of WTCR will be crowned in a snap. In the finale, Johan Kristoffersson created an upset at Sepang with a win from 22nd place start on the grid but it was Michelisz who was crowned King of WTCR after the race.

Congratulations Norbert Michelisz for being this year's King of WTCR!

And that concludes the 2019 FIA World Touring Car Cup presented by Oscaro. Next year's going to be a busy season for them and with Volkswagen out of the running and South Korea's added in their map, this season changes everything.

See you next season!
