Once Upon a Time in Hollywood

Quentin Tarantino, the mastermind of violent films known the world over since Kill Bill, has manned up this time with 9th film that brings the biggest cast ever assembled in to the twilight of the Golden Age of Hollywood.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood
With Hollywood's big names such as Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio assembled into the ninth film made by writer-director Quentin Tarantino, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood takes viewers to a pseudo-historical recreation of Los Angeles in the year 1969, the final moments of Hollywood's Golden Age, where a TV star and his longtime stunt double made their way to Hollywood. All that stardom in the town of make-believe comes with a hefty price.

On the road to becoming one of the master-class films not just the rest of the Summer movie season but for this year, this film made by the mastermind of violent films takes a more dramatic and realist approach to create a master stroke of a pseudo-historical masterpiece that will enrapture the viewers from beginning to the end, delivering a perspective worthy of an Oscar and numerous praises.

Getting glued into this pseudo-historical film depicting the golden age of cinema is somewhat of a challenge but as viewers get to know about the real struggles in the Golden Age of Hollywood, they'll know what this film is all about. It's everything they want to get to know about the rise of Tinseltown in a thought-provoking perspective that will surely believe that this is one of the most dramatic films of the year.

My rating: 4.4 out of 5
