- The Malacanang declared Febaruary 4th as PH-American Memorial Day.

- The Department of Environment and Natural Resources is reviewing the training design on wildlife forensics and criminal investigation to help combat illegal wildlife trafficking in the Philippines.

- Commissioner Gwendolyn Pimentel-Gana of the Commission on Human Rights said the government should not be perturbed by the move of the United Nations Human Rights Commission to investigate cases of extra-judicial killings brought about by the war on illegal drugs launched by the Duterte administration.

- Representatives from the United States and Russia are set to meet in Geneva on Wednesday to explore the concept of a new accord limiting nuclear arms that could eventually include China, senior US officials said.

- The 2020 Nissan Skyline V37 minor change has been unveiled. Aside from being the first Nissan to use the new ProPILOT 2.0 system, the new model brings back the Nissan badging on the Skyline, the GT-R styled nose, and a new VR30DDTT 3.0L V6 Twin Turbo engine with up to 405PS of power on the new 400R variant.

- At the end of the 2nd Revue Starlight musical, they've announced that their third musical will be on the summer of next year.

- The Duterte administration wants the government to take over the hosting preparations of the 2019 Southeast Asian Games following reports of alleged corruption within the PHISGOC.
