The best of MNL48 First Generation

As MNLoves worldwide await the rise of MNL48 Second Generation today, it's hard to say that this day marks the endgame for the MNL48 First Generation and Sheki's reign as the center girl for MNL48 has come to an end, whatever that means. Anyway, while this is goodbye to the first generation today, the girls made a lot of moments over the course of the year as well as some hilarious moments such as breaking toy hammers, falling down in class, the Dancing Is Life part, and everything.

As the world bids the first generation farewell, let's slow things down and enjoy the very best of MNL48 First Generation.

The best of MNLife:

The best of MNLaugh:

Last but not least, 365 Araw Ng Eroplanong Papel music video

It's hard to say why MNLoves like you and I are wistfully watching the best moments from the First Generation and as a matter of fact, fans are growing affectionate to the Philippine sister group of the world-famous J-POP idol franchise, AKB48, from the start and they went through considerable lengths to get in touch with their Oshis.

From mall shows, handshake events, and even guesting on IT'S SHOWTIME, the hit variety show that gave birth to them in the first place, more and more Filipinos worldwide are becoming attached to the MNL48 mania and whether they love them or hate them, these girls are here to stay, whatever the purpose.

As the sun sets on them, the sun will rise for the new breed of girls ready to pen a new story for MNL48 and how they will live up to their expectations is entirely up to them.

So, while this is goodbye to the MNL48 First Generation, the MNL48 story lives on at the hands of the Second Generation.

Matamitene (see you again), Oshis.
