- The Department of Health reports 1,200 new cases of HIV in January.

- The US Congress voted to pass the For the People Act (H.R. 1) in its entirety -- the most comprehensive electoral reform bill in decades. H.R. 1 will ensure everyone plays by the same ethics rules, special interests don't rule politics, and everyone's right to vote is protected.

- The newborn son of UK-born teenager Shamima Begum who left her London home to join the Islamic State militants in Syria passed away Friday in a refugee camp.

- At the age of 116, Kane Tanaka of Fukuoka, Japan claims Guinness World Record as the world's oldest living person.

- McLaren unveiled the Senna GTR which is a track-based version of the Senna hypercar with the 823PS 4.0L V8 Twin Turbo engine and extreme track-focused aerodynamics, among many others.

- Former Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn has finally left jail after 108 days since his sudden arrest on November 2018. He was freed yesterday at the Tokyo Detention Centre, posted bail of one billion yen, and surrendered his passport to his lawyers. Ghosn can only reside in his Tokyo residence, complete with newly-installed CCTVs to monitor his movements, as well as visitors’.

- Latest PS4 update now adds Remote Play function to iOS devices.
