ABB FIA Formula E S5: Hong Kong ePrix

This season's Hong Kong ePrix marks the 50th ePrix of the FIA Formula E franchise and what better way to celebrate the series' 50th ePrix than letting the drivers go all out in the streets of Hong Kong. With some twists and turns in typical Formula E fashion, this 50th ePrix in Formula E history really is something from start to finish.

In this 50th ePrix race in Formula E history, Sam Bird of Envision Virgin was named the winner but due to a clash with Andre Lotterer, he was penalized and had his win revoked, leaving Edoardo Mortara of Venturi, who was placed 2nd, promoted to first place while Lucas di Grassi of Audi Sport Abt Schaeffler, who placed 3rd, was promoted to 2nd.

After Hong Kong, Bird and Jerome D'Ambrosio are now a point apart in the standings, 54 to 53.

The next race is at the new venue Sanya, China, on the 23rd of March.
