FIA WTCR 2018 - Race of Japan

The FIA World Touring Car Cup continues in Suzuka Circuit for the JVCKENWOOD Race of Japan where it takes more than Bushido to show the Japanese audience which of the touring car drivers can dominate the venue of the Japanese Grand Prix by all means.

Although many of the Japanese audience were delighted to see their Civic WTCR heroes racing on the track, none of these Japanese touring cars managed to win the race, sadly, as demonstrated by Team Mulsanne Alfa Romeo's Kevin Ceccon winning Race 1, Sébastien Loeb Racing Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR driver Rob Huff won the reverse-grid Race 2, and BRC Racing Team Hyundai i30 N TCR driver Gabriele Tarquini won Race 3. A shocking three-race upset to the home crowd.

The 2018 FIA World Touring Car Cup ends at the Race of Macau held at the Circuito da Guia on the 15th to the 18th of November, 2018. With Gabriele Tarquini leading in the driver rankings, will he be the one to win the title? Find out in the finale soon!
