FIA WTCR 2018 - Race of China-Ningbo

The Second World felt the roar of two of the loudest racing events of the year; first is the Russian Grand Prix of the Formula 1 2018 season and second is the Ningbo race of the 2018 FIA World Touring Car Cup. Attention is now shifted to Ningbo International Speedpark in Ningbo, China for the continuation of the 2018 FIA World Touring Car Cup. After a long summer break, the action is back for more.

Starting at Race 1, Hyundai driver Thed Bjork turned his pole position into a one-way ticket to Victory Line after winning the first race of the event. In Race 2, Yvan Muller nailed his third win of the season in the reverse-grid format. And in the last race of the China-Ningbo event, once again, Bjork made headlines with his win. No sign of slowing the Swede now as the gap between him and title leader Gabriele Tarquini is now 8 points, 241 vs 233 points.

The next race of the 2018 FIA WTCR will continue in China, this time at the Wuhan International Street Track for the Race of China-Wuhan event on the 5th to the 7th of October.
