F1 2018 - US GP

The 2018 Formula 1 season continues at Circuit of the Americas, located in the heart of the Lone Star State, Texas, which is annoyingly one of the solid Republican territories of America, for the United States Grand Prix where surprises come from all corners of America's greatest racetrack.

In a shocking upset, Kimi Raikkonen of Ferrari ended his five-year drought as he won the US Grand Prix packed with numerous upsets no one saw it coming. Max Verstappen of Red Bull made an amazing feat by racing his way from 18th to 2nd place. Lewis Hamilton of Mercedes, who held the fastest lap time of 1:37.392 in the race, finished 3rd. Sebastian Vettel's race and title hopes were almost over before the end of Lap 1 when he collided with Daniel Ricciardo and sent the German to 15th place but managed to fight his way and ended in 4th.

Romain Grosjean managed to avoid the race ban after penalty for his crash with Charles Leclerc. However, Esteban Ocon and Kevin Magnussen are disqualified for fuel use irregularities.

After the race at the Lone Star State, the gap between Hamilton and Vettel are now 70 points, 346 vs. 276, and he's on the verge of nicking his fifth title with three races left. Will the Brit succeed? Find out as the next race will be at Mexico on the 28th.
