F1 2018: Russian GP

The Second World felt the roar of two of the loudest racing events of the year; first is the Russian Grand Prix of the Formula 1 2018 season and second is the Ningbo race of the 2018 FIA World Touring Car Cup. Let's focus on the Russian Grand Prix of the F1 2018 season where the odds are still in favor of this season's title leader as many have tried to turn his tables in the heat of the battle.

Lewis Hamilton snagged his 70th win of his career, his third win at the Russian Grand Prix, while Valtteri Bottas is finished in 2nd place and title rival Sebastian Vettel, whose gap between him and Hamilton is now 50 points, is finished in 3rd place. Pierre Gasly and Brendon Hartley were out of the race for numerous issues.

The biggest showstopper of the Russian Grand Prix goes to Red Bull's Max Verstappen who managed to climbed ten places in the first three laps of the race, which is rather impressive for a fifth place finisher.

The next race of the F1 2018 season will be at Suzuka for the Japanese Grand Prix on the 6th of October.
