- The Philippine military remains on high alert as reports of Maute-ISIS terror group allegedly continues to plot an attack in parts of Mindanao in a bid to reignite the months-long war that plagued Marawi. Armed Forces of the Philippine Spokesman Brig. Gen. Bienvenido Datuin said that they have already tasked the Western Mindanao Command to strengthen their forces against any possible terrorist attacks.

- President Rodrigo Duterte called his "genitalia" remark against female NPA members as being sarcastic on his order but stands firm on his call to female members of the New People's Army to stop bearing children who they only intend to leave later on.

- Supreme Court Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno was allegedly forced to file a wellness leave after being confronted by other magistrates during a recent en banc session. However, the Supreme Court En Banc insisted that Sereno took an indefinite leave starting March 1, and not a wellness leave.

- The Trump administration's planned changes on the Affordable Care Act could draw 2.5 million out of markets and their rules favor cheaper and less-comprehensive plans, according to a new analysis by the Urban Institute.

- Four-time MotoGP champion Marc Marquez extended his contract with Repsol Honda for two more years.

- Ahead of the F1 2018 season, Toro Rosso and Force India unveiled their entries for this season.

- The Buick Envision crossover gets updated for the 2019 model year with the addition of a new 2.0L turbo engine and 9AT variant.
