The Grand Tour S2: Blasts from the Past

Today's episode of Amazon Prime's The Grand Tour celebrates the golden days of motoring with a road trip featuring two restored classics and a modern take of an American racing icon.

The Grand Tour S2E08

Richard Hammond drives a Jaguar XKSS, which was restored by Jaguar themselves, while Jeremy Clarkson drives an Aston Martin DB4 GT, which was restored but modded. They enjoyed their road trip in France until it was interrupted by James May and the brand new Honda Civic Type R and rearranged for a trip to Spain.

Back in the Eboladrome, true to his words, Clarkson lets loose with the new Ford GT. When handed to the unnamed driver, it set a lap time of 1:17.6.

Drummers Stewart Copeland from The Police and Nick Mason from Pink Floyd battle themselves on Celebrity Face Off. In that segment, Mason did it in 1:21.3 while Copeland did it in 1:24.2.
