- World leaders attending the APEC Summit in Vietnam and 31st ASEAN Summit in the Philippines should raise concerns about the "deteriorating" human rights situations in numerous ASEAN countries. Rights watchdog Human Rights Watch stressed that heads of states should address the bloody “war on drugs” in the Philippines, the Rohingya crisis in Myanmar, crackdown of dissenters in Vietnam and Cambodia and the abusive junta rule in Thailand.

- South Korea reportedly grant Filipinos visa-free entry to enter the country so they can witness next year's PyeongChang Winter Olympics. Reports told that Filipino tourists will be allowed to come to the Olympic host city Pyeongchang until April 2018, but only if they enter through the regional YangYang airport.

- Senator Richard "Dick" Gordon is facing plunder charges filed by Senator Antonio Trillanes IV yesterday over misuse of Philippine Red Cross funds.

- The Venezuelan assembly passed a new law that clamps down on social media and broadcasters alike by ordering prison sentences of up to 20 years for anyone who instigates hate. Human Rights Watch warns that this new law seeks to end free speech in Venezuela.

- NASA is seeking a nickname for a new world beyond the solar system that's next for New Horizons, the spacecraft that surveyed Pluto.

- Chevrolet teases a new C7 Corvette variant to be unveiled this November 12. Could it be...?

 - Honda teases a facelifted N ONE kei car, coming this December. The facelifted N ONE will have two new models joining the standard and Premium models such as Select and RS.



- Idol girl group i☆Ris is back to perform a new opening theme song coming on Idol Time Pripara.

- Actress Toni Collette is set to star in an upcoming drama co-produced by BBC and Netflix, titled Wanderlust.
