- Preisdent Rodrigo Dutere yesterday stressed that he will not let policemen and soldiers go to prison as the Philippine National Police faces allegations of extrajudicial killings.

- The Commission on Human Rights chief Chito Gascon said yesterday that destabilizing the government is not on their agenda amid attacks on the constitutional body for criticizing the mounting killings in the Duterte administration's brutal campaign against drugs.
