Predator: Badlands

The Predator franchise is back in cinemas with the latest installment, where a different kind of Predator becomes the Prey.

Predator: Badlands
Predator: Badlands

Directed by Dan Trachtenberg, who did his work in the other Predator installment titled PREY, Predator: Badlands features a different kind of Predator as it embarks through hostile territories to prove its worth with the help of an android named Thia, played by Elle Fanning.

This Predator stands apart from those in previous films as it is struggling for survival and relies solely on traditional hunting techniques. This makes the movie a straightforward action-adventure that feels distinct from earlier Predator installments. It's intense, and in a sense, it serves as a baptism by fire in the Predator's world.

While not as good as the other Predator movies, Badlands serves as a rite of passage for fans who want to see how an inexperienced Predator fights back to earn its name.

First hunt, last chance. Enjoy watching this newest Predator movie and discover the true meaning of survival.

Kanketsu-hen Chapter 2

Set shortly after the first film, the second chapter of the Nijigasaki High School Idol Club finale trilogy follows the girls as they travel to the Kansai region. Setsuna Yuki, Ai Miyashita, Karin Asaka, Rina Tennoji, Shioriko Mifune, and Mia Taylor are participating in the Kansai leg of the School Idol GPX, a competition where school idols from across Japan compete to become "the most popular school idol at the moment."

Unlike the first film, the second installment is set to bring intense drama by delving into the challenges faced by the featured idols. It raises more questions for fans who eagerly anticipate seeing the other members showcase their new songs. This chapter includes Mia's confrontation with her sister Chloe Taylor, Setsuna Yuki's quest for self-discovery and the true meaning of loyalty, and introduces a shadowy masked vigilante who seemingly appears out of nowhere. Overall, this second chapter delivers a gut-wrenching emotional experience.

As tensions continue to rise dramatically, this movie reveals the authentic essence of the Kansai region, featuring Kyoto, Osaka, and Kobe. We can expect fans to flock to the locations highlighted in the film, creating a lively buzz around this "touring" experience. For LoveLivers, this is what tourism looks like, and the movie is sure to generate a lot of excitement.

From tensions to tourism, the second chapter of the Nijigasaki finale trilogy is a must-watch of the season. Those who enjoyed the first film last year can look forward to continuing with this latest installment.

Great to have you back, girls. Bring it on!
